الأهداف

  • The objective of this Supplemental Inspection Certification Preparatory Training Program is to provide in-site and technical Knowledge based competence within API certified Inspectors (API 510, 570, & 653). Knowledge and expertise in the area of Corrosion and Materials based on the information contained in API RP 571 will be discussed. An API Supplemental Inspection Certification is defined as “Documentation that indicates that minimum requirements have been met for additional qualification in the designated area of expertise”. This would include an API certificate.
  • This course will prepare an Inspector to successfully complete the API 571 Suplimentory Inspector Certification Examination by thoroughly reviewing the API Recommended Practice 571. Mock examination questions, meeting the appropriate specific examination criteria, will be utilized to simulate actual API test conditions, providing an effective study base.

  • Participants will be presented with a detailed course book and will become thoroughly acquainted with the elements, aspects and requirements of API 571 while taking decisions on safe running or repairs of existing pressure parts.
  • This course will help to improve technical capability of API inspector in repair, alteration of Pressure Vessels, Tanks and Piping. It will also help in reducing the potential for inspection delays resulting from meeting regulatory requirements.
