الأهداف
The Course presents the theory of Ultrasound generation and its transmission through metal specimens, and addresses basic pulse-echo instrumentation(A-B-C-Scan and Computerized Systems) and its functions.
It discusses the basic principles of Operation of transducers and different types of crystals, and also explains purpose and principles of couplants.
The course covers different testing methods and calibration procedures, and participants learn how to perform straight beam and angle beam examinations, as well as how to interpret the results of Ultrasonic Testing Inspection procedures.
Level I Ultrasonic testing Certification procedures are also discussed in this course.
