During Introduction to Payroll Manager training you will learn how to run a payroll from start to finish.  You will gain the skills you need to perform a pay run as well as a detailed understanding of transactions, reporting, maintenance and the superannuation process.

  •  Use the Payroll Checklist to process a complete pay
  •  Identify several methods for backing up and restoring payroll data
  •  Setup and edit maintenance Registers and Employee records
  •  Enter transactions using the Fast Timesheet Entry, Extended Transaction Entry and Express Timesheet Entry
  •  Generate transactions
  •  Produce reports used to:
  •  List exceptions that may impact the payroll process
  •  Check transaction input
  •  Record all payroll transactions for the period
  •  Record employer superannuation contributions
  •  Reconcile payroll values
  •  Print Pay Advices and generate files, including creditor files
  •  Perform an End of Pay process and produce reports associated with End of Pay
  •  Perform housekeeping tasks such as Database Integrity Checks and purges of the audit Report
  •  Perform a Period Reset
  •  Participants will be able to:
  •  Use Extended Transaction entry to process Terminations, Prepayments, Adjustments and Back Pays
  •  Identify the key reports produced during the pay process
  •  Adjust costing values
  •  Adjust Superannuation cumulative values
  •  Generate a text file containing selected payroll information
  •  Enter Leave Balances and Previous Earnings
  •  Assign appropriate access settings, add users and set passwords
