INTRODUCTION:

Pumps and compressors are widely used nowadays in different oil & petrochemical facilities, fluid distribution systems, marine field, thermal power stations and different industrial applications. This course is intended to prepare the target persons with the ability to understand and recognize different types, components, theory of operation, applications, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of pumps and compressors. This course introduces the fundamentals and performance parameters and curves of pumps and compressors. It provides standardized terminology and a basic approach to the various pump and compressor types. It aims to provide the knowledge needed to cover installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance situations. Likely students are all personnel who operate, manage, or are involved in, designing, specifying, selling, sourcing, installing, servicing and maintaining pump and compressor systems. The material of the course is applicable to field production facilities, pipelines, gas plants, onshore and offshore systems

The Training Effect will be measured by executing an interactive Workshop (How to troubleshoot pumps and compressors by computer software according to manufacture manual and two exams; Pre Exam and Post Exam. Any additional subjects can be added through training according to trainee requirements.
