INTRODUCTION:

 

Analog electronics has become an integral part of our industries. A working knowledge of electronics has now become a prerequisite for efficiency in the work place.

 This training course will demystify the world of electronics to you and equip you to understand, identify and confidently troubleshoot electronic problems. Day 1:

INTRODUCTION TO ANALOG ELECTRONICS

  • Analog vs. Digital Electronics

DIODES & RECTIFIERS

  • Rectifying Diode Circuits
  • The Zener Diode

Day 2:

AMPLIFIERS

  • Small signal amplifiers
  • Power amplifiers
  • Amplifier frequency response
  • Amplifier applications

FILTERS

  • RC and RL Filters
  • RLC Filter Design
  • Active Filter Design

Day 3:

OP-AMP & AMPLIFIERS

  • Design A BJT Amplifier
  • Design An OpAmp Amplifier
  • Design An Audio Amplifier

USING TEST EQUIPMENT

  • Current measurement
  • Voltage measurement
  • Resistance measurement
  • Analogue meters
  • Digital meters
  • Oscilloscopes

Day 4:

FAILURE ANALYSIS AND PREVENTION IN ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS

  • Failure symptoms
  • Failure causes
  • Failure types
  • General preventive measures

Day 5:

TESTING IN ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS

  • Equipments/devices used in testing (ex. spectrum analyzer, multimeter, oscilloscope, lCR meter,DVM, MDA, AWG etc.)

DEVICE TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Diode, transistor, resistor, capacitor, op-amp, & thermocouple
