Upon the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to achieve the following objectives:

• Know the policies & Procedures for effective purchasing to achieve success through leadership and team building using proactive approaches for better performance and strategic management tools
• Getting the insight of purchasing procedures in competitive bidding, quotations and tendering. Including: Specifications, Quality, Cost,
• Knowing the process of contracting and ordering agreements, including vendor analysis, evaluation, bargaining & negotiating tenders, process and suppliers, arriving to supplier selection.
• Get exposed to purchasing strategies: focus on cost analysis, quality, responsiveness, partnerships, flexibility and cycle time, e-procurement, , inventory management, negotiations for cost reduction, MRP, Sourcing Channels,
• Understand the SCM (Supply Chan Management)t practices used, concepts, potential, and explore new challenges in SCM.
• Understand the logistics involved in purchasing and contracting strategies.
