Objectives
- The objective of this Specification for Line Pipe Training Program is to provide in-site and technical Knowledge based competence within API certified manufacturer. Knowledge and expertise in the area of Welding and Welding Metallurgy based on the information contained in API RP 577/ ASME Sec IX will be discussed. An API 5 L Specification for Line Pipe is defined as “Documentation that indicates that minimum requirements have been met for additional qualification in the designated area of expertise”.
- This course will make an Inspector to understand the API 5L Specification for Line Pipe by thoroughly reviewing the API 5L.
