• Comprehend weight reduction tables for load handling devices e.g. slings, shackle and turnbuckle
• Understand the importance of clearance when planning a lift
• Identify and correctly use the internationally approved hand signals
• Identification of crane e.g. RT, Crawler, Truck Mounted, 
• Conduct practical lift using a crane and others lifting devices.
